This is a solidly built, tested UV flashlight that works well with our UV fluorescent tracking powders. It runs on 3 AA batteries (not included) and is made of machined aluminum. The nominal UV wavelength is 395 nm which is perfect for tracking small mammals. It also works for many other household purposes such as finding invisible organic stains (e.g., urine, etc.) in the home.
